Editorial policy
Lively Beauty Journal aims to make beauty topics clear, fair and useful. We explain what a piece can establish, distinguish fact from interpretation and avoid promising outcomes that the available information does not support.
Accuracy and context
We check names, descriptions and factual statements against suitable material before publication, and we add context where a phrase or claim could otherwise mislead. Product descriptions are not treated as independent proof of performance. When evidence is limited or a point is uncertain, we say so rather than filling the gap with confident language.
Independence and corrections
Editorial decisions are made for the reader, not to secure a favourable product mention. We do not accept payment in exchange for editorial conclusions. If we find a material error, we correct the relevant text and make the change clear where appropriate. Readers can send correction requests through the Contact page.
Paid and partner material
Any paid feature, partner placement or other material created through a commercial collaboration is identified clearly as such. Partner involvement does not guarantee favourable coverage, and commercial material is kept distinct from independent editorial work.
Images and illustrations
Images are chosen to support the subject and should not be taken as evidence of a product result. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when this is the case, they are identified so readers can distinguish illustration from documentary imagery.
Beauty is more than a promise on a package
We look at the details behind beauty products and routines so readers can make sense of what they see and choose what suits them.
